Citrus Drinks

What do we always have in our kitchens during the autumn season? Right, pumpkins and citrus fruits. So why not squeeze them (I mean the fruits, I know you are not Popeye) and make a drink full of vitamines? Get these two simple but yummy recipes (thanks to Amano Bar for sharing!) & feel free to add some alcohol on Sundays and after 12 a.m. P1510484P1510480What you will need for the first drink: 1/2 fig, 1/2 lemon, 1-2 oranges (depends on how juicy they are), 1 Tbsp honey. Squeeze the fig pulp with the honey. Add lemon and orange juice and shake everything in a shaker. Serve the drink with goat cheese, roasted pine nuts and more figs. P1510389P1510593P1510378
What you will need for the second drink: 1 passion fruit, 1/2 lime, 1/2 grapefruit, fresh mint, 1 tsp raw cane sugar, tonic water. Put the passionfruit pulp in a long drink glass, add lime and grapefruit juice, sugar and fresh mint. Put some ice cubes above and stir everything. Fill up with tonic water. Done!

    Vielen Dank für die tollen Tipps ! Hier auf Mallorca gibt es um diese Jahreszeit gerade wahnsinnig viele Zitrusfrüchte (Orangen und Zitronen) zu ernten. Schade, dass viele Besitzer der Gärten und Plantagen das Obst einfach auf den Boden fallen lassen, statt es zu tollen Säften oder Marmelade zu verarbeiten ! Werde eure tollen Rezeptvorschläge auf jeden Fall bald selber ausprobieren !
